I love being a celebrant. I love the way it uses my various skills to help create meaningful rituals for people.

If appropriate I love to work with people's stories. I enjoy finding ways of weaving people's tales into the design and context ot their ceremony.

I encourage people to use their creativity.

I try to connect to people's imaginations to help them come up with their own ideas for their own ceremony. I happily suggest things as well but as much as possible I like to bring out what often lies beneath some doubt or trepidation.  

I believe these powerful life events must remain true and authentic to the people who are participating in them.

As a celebrant I see my role as helping to initiate, support and nuture that quality.

Helping to create and celebrate  Meaningful Rituals

Thank you for visiting my website.  

Rituals are important in our lives. They are times when we pause and take stock. They can often be times of deep reflection. Rituals provide the opportunity to connect again to our extended families and communities.  

A good celebrant holds these rituals and carries the families and communities involved through these very important Rites of Passage.  

My aim as a celebrant is to make you feel that you do not have to worry about anything on the day of your celebration. Whether it be your wedding or commitment ceremony or the naming of your child.
